Turning Inward – Come home to yourself

Mind-Body Group for Women

You're invited into a small, intentional circle of women — a space to slow down and reconnect with your body, your heart, and wisdom.

This eight-week group is rooted in Mind-Body Medicine, an evidence-based approach used in clinical and community settings worldwide to regulate the nervous system, reduce stress hormones, and build real resilience.

Through breath, guided imagery, movement, self-expression, and shared reflection, we begin to shift out of chronic stress patterns and into a more regulated, balanced state — with the support of therapeutic sound to help it settle more deeply into the body.

As the body settles, many women notice:

  • Anxiety softens

  • Sleep improves

  • Mood stabilizes

  • Relationships improve

  • A deeper sense of well-being returns

What You'll Learn

Meditation

Concentrative, mindful, and expressive practices to promote relaxed, moment-to-moment awareness.

Guided Imagery

To mobilize your imagination, improve physiological functioning, and work through previously insoluble problems.

Autogenic Training & Biofeedback

To develop control over autonomic system functioning, reduce stress, and bring your mind and body into harmony.

Breath Work

To enhance your health with intentional breath work.

Movement

To release stress and increase energy with mindful, joyous movement.

Self-Expression

To find your voice and solutions to previously insoluble problems through journaling and drawing.

How It Works

Groups are small and consistent — 8 to 10 women — meeting on the same day and time for eight sessions, two hours each. This format gives you the chance to learn, practice, and integrate these skills into your life with the group's support to work through whatever comes up along the way.

The group itself is part of the healing — co-regulating, being witnessed without judgment, and not needing to fix anything.

This is not a therapy group. It's a highly supportive educational group, facilitated by Linda Mechner and April LeBlanc, both present as equal participants alongside you.

The commitment to attend all eight sessions, and a willingness to connect with, relate to, and understand others' experiences as much as your own is needed for registration. You must also be eighteen years or older.
